Popeye’s Punch

Makes 16 oz

This juice is rich in vitamins A, C and K as well as calcium, potassium, iron and chlorophyll, helping to support a healthy cardiovascular system and provide a boost of energy!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Spinach
  • 3 Large Leaves of Kale
  • 3 Large Leaves of Dandelion
  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • 4 Large Carrots
  • ½ cup Spinach

  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • 4 Large Carrots

 

Directions:

  1. Juice all the greens first, finishing off with carrots and enjoy right away for optimal nutritional benefits.

 

Each Serving (16oz) Contains:

103 calories; 4 g protein; 0 g total fat (0 g trans fat); 25 g total carbohydrates (Only 9 g of sugar!); 175 mg sodium

    This sounds something I would try. I have a recipe where I use kale and/or spinach, a little bit of carrot(optional), cucumber, celery, lemon, parsley, cilantro. I may use a hint of cayenne (optional). I’ve added broccoli before as well. I have something like a nutri ninja. I get the fiber this way as well. It is not sweet taste at all.

      Sounds delicious. Cayenne definitely adds a spicy, healthy kick – sure gets the circulation going!
