Ingredients

Macaroons

  • 3 Cups Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
  • 1 Cup Raw Cashews
  • 0.25 Cup “Maison Orphée” Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Melted)
  • 0.5 Cup "Madhava" Raw Agave Nectar
  • 1 tsp "Organic Traditions" Vanilla Bean Powder
  • 1 Pinch Sea Salt

Decorations

  • 20 Pcs Pecan Halves
  • 20 Pcs Dried Currants
  • 30 Pcs “Mum’s Original” Goji Berries
  • 10 Pcs Whole Almonds

Instructions

  • Process your coconut, cashews, vanilla powder and salt in a food processor until smooth.
  • Add the melted coconut oil and agave and process until well combined
  • Using an ice cream scoop, form 10 macaroons and set aside on a parchment lined tray.
  • Use the pecan halves for the feet, dried currants for the eyes, almonds for the beaks and goji berries for the wattles.
