Ingredients
- 4 Cups Grated Organic Carrots
- 4 Cups "Pacific" Organic Almond Milk
- 0.75 Cup “Xyla” Granulated Xylitol
- 0.5 Cup “Thai Kitchen” Organic Coconut Milk (Fatty Part Only)
- 1 tsp “Frontier” Cardamom (Ground)
- 0.25 Cup Unsalted Organic Cashews (Chopped)
- 0.25 Cup Unsalted Organic Pistachios (Chopped)
- 0.25 Cup Golden Organic Raisins
- 2 tbsp "Nutiva" Coconut Oil
- 0.25 Cup “Nature’s Emporium” Almond Flour
Instructions
- In a sauce pan, simmer grated carrots and almond milk for 30 minutes.
- Add cardamom and Xylitol and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Once the halwa has started to thicken, add the remaining ingredients and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold as a snack or dessert!
