Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Grated Organic Carrots
  • 4 Cups "Pacific" Organic Almond Milk
  • 0.75 Cup “Xyla” Granulated Xylitol
  • 0.5 Cup “Thai Kitchen” Organic Coconut Milk (Fatty Part Only)
  • 1 tsp “Frontier” Cardamom (Ground)
  • 0.25 Cup Unsalted Organic Cashews (Chopped)
  • 0.25 Cup Unsalted Organic Pistachios (Chopped)
  • 0.25 Cup Golden Organic Raisins
  • 2 tbsp "Nutiva" Coconut Oil
  • 0.25 Cup “Nature’s Emporium” Almond Flour

Instructions

  • In a sauce pan, simmer grated carrots and almond milk for 30 minutes.
  • Add cardamom and Xylitol and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Once the halwa has started to thicken, add the remaining ingredients and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve warm or cold as a snack or dessert!
