Featured Recipe: Baked Beet Burgers (Vegan, Gluten Free)
These delicious burgers offer a nutrient dense vegan alternative that’s packed with detox supportive ingredients and tonnes of flavour.
Servings: 8 Patties
Ingredients
- 1 Can (425g) “Eden” Chickpeas (Drained, Pureed)
 - 2 Cups “Pfennings” Organic Red Beets (Peeled, Grated)
 - 3 Cups Organic Crimini Mushrooms (Chopped)
 - 1.5 Cups Organic Onions (Diced)
 - 1 tbsp Organic Garlic (Minced)
 - 1 Cup Organic Walnuts (Roasted, Ground)
 - 1 Cup Organic Quick Cooking Oats (Gluten Free Variety)
 - 3 tbsp “Smoke” Smoked Paprika
 - 1 tbsp “Frontier” Onion Granules
 - 1 tbsp “Frontier” Garlic Granules
 - 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
 - 2 tsp Sea Salt (or to taste)
 - 3 tbsp "Sarafino" Extra Virgin Olive Oil
 
Instructions
- Sauté onions, garlic and mushrooms in olive oil, over medium heat for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
 - In a bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables with the remaining ingredients and mix until fully combined.
 - Form into patties, place onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 350F for 1 hour, flipping the patties halfway through.
 - Use this patty with your bun, toppings and condiments of choice.
