With so much conflicting information on what a ‘healthy diet’ actually is, it is becoming more difficult for people to make the right choices. Topics explored in this presentation include: 1) why different diets work for different people, 2) could certain healthy, whole foods actually be making you sick?, 3) why some people are not suited to being vegetarian/vegan, 4) the difference between a therapeutic diet and a maintenance diet and 5) the power of food to prevent and reverse chronic degenerative disease. Brett is a Functional Medicine and Holistic Nutrition Practitioner based in Ontario. He specializes in helping clients overcome chronic and complex health conditions and is widely regarded as an expert the field of natural medicine. In addition to his private practice, he is also lead faculty at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition since 2007. He is the founder of Holistic Health Masterclass, a practitioner-focused educational platform that aims to empower practitioners and help them succeed in their practice. In December 2017 he launched Holistic Health Masterclass Podcast to further spread the power of Natural Medicine with the world.
