Learn how to make your own fermented vegetables at home. From tasty krauts and kimchi to fermented brines like ‘real’ dill pickles and spicy green beans, there are endless ways to create healthy ferments at home that the whole family will love.
You’ll learn how to ferment safely, how to properly store ferments and the best way to integrate them into your diet. We’ll also discuss the health benefits and how they compare to probiotic supplements.
You’ll take home a jar of tasty kraut you’ll make during the class and a recipes booklet with additional info and resources.
Hosted By: Kathrin Brunner is a Toronto-based nutritionist and yoga teacher. She has a passion for holistic living and is a nutrition expert and recipe developer for Clean Eating Magazine. Kathrin teaches at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition and has a private practice that offers nutrition counselling, a variety of workshops, corporate talks and yoga classes.
