On Sunday, June 3, Nature’s is Riding for Mackenzie Health Foundation: Here’s Why

On Sunday, June 3, Nature’s Team Members Josie, Csaba, Orazio and Alex will be riding for health in support of Mackenzie Health Foundation.

Funds raised by Ride for Health support Mackenzie Health Foundation’s $250-million Exceptional Care Belongs Here campaign to build and equip the future Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital – Canada’s first ‘smart’ hospital – and enhance care at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.

We recently caught up with each of them, to find out why they’re riding for health this coming weekend. Here’s what they had to say:

Why We Ride

“I ride for better health care in my community. I ride for the passion I have for cycling but most importantly I ride because of all the work and support that Nature’s Emporium continues to pour into our communities. I’m proud to represent Nature’s Emporium on this ride and I feel blessed to be part of the team.”

“I’m happy to be part of this amazing event. I live an active lifestyle and I like to participate in different kinds of outdoor events. It’s nice to support our hospitals and give back to the community. Looking forward to this fantastic bike ride!”

“Taking part in the Ride for Health in support of Mackenzie Health allows us an opportunity to raise awareness for the charity through publicity along with social media. There is a great sense of satisfaction knowing that we are helping others in need not only today but also in the years to come!

Being a part of the Nature’s Emporium team who weigh in heavily on community involvement also inspires me to participate in this great event knowing that the founding principles of well-being are consistent with Mackenzie Health!
