Featured Recipe: Peanut Butter Cup Protein Bars

A tasty way to boost your protein intake for the day in the form of peanut butter and chocolate!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 3 Packs “Garden of Life” Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 Cup “Lundberg” Brown Rice Syrup
  • 4 Cups Puffed Rice
  • 1.25 Cups “Enjoy Life” Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tsp “Flavorganics” Vanilla Extract
  • 0.5 tsp Sea Salt

Instructions

  • Pre heat your oven to 375F.
  • In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients except for puffed rice and chocolate chips.
  • Transfer the mix into a bowl and hand mix the puffed rice and ¼ cup chocolate chips until well combined.
  • Spread the mix onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 375F for 10 minutes.
  • Melt the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips over a double boiler
  • Allow the bars to slightly cool for 30 minutes and top with melted chocolate.
  • Place in a refrigerator to cool completely for 2-3 hours.
  • Cut into bar shapes and enjoy any time of the day!
